It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William "Bill" Andrews, May 9, 2025 at 64 years of age.
Born on June 19, 1960 to John and Jeannine Andrews, Bill was a free spirit who brought a gift of joy and laughter wherever he went. Any gathering was instantly elevated when Billy arrived. He had a way of connecting to each and every one of us in a very special way.
After growing up in California and Wisconsin, Bill came to Washington, where he graduated from the University of Puget Sound. He played 4 years of Logger baseball and made a large circle of lifelong friends.
Bill was truly in his element when in the outdoors, playing baseball, hunting and fishing. He was incredibly generous and service minded, donating to countless charities and service organizations. Bill also helped many people he didn’t really know. Just a few weeks ago Bill removed a downed tree for a paralyzed veteran. To quote a friend, “Bill never met a stranger”. He became one of their people. His parents called him Palikari, a Greek term meaning brave and honorable.
Bill’s professional life also reflected his commitment to serving others. As a real estate agent, he helped families find their homes, as a restaurant owner he brought people together with good food and music, and later, in the tree work industry, he found great joy working outdoors helping care for the natural world.
Bill loved his family. He met his wife Teresa in Kirkland where they raised their family and were married for 38 years. They had 3 beautiful daughters, Haley, Jessica and Clara who meant the world to him. He is also survived by his brother, Mark Andrews, his sister, Holly Kramer, and their families. Additionally, he is survived by his brothers-in- law, Steve and Nick Vlahovich, and their respective families.
Billy will also be missed by a countless number of best friends. Because he always found a way to be your best friend. He will remain in all our hearts forever.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family requests a tree to be planted in honor of Bill.
