Stephanie "Tep" Johnson

Stephanie “Tep” Johnsen, born March 16, 1986, in Santa Cruz, California, left us unexpectedly on March 5, 2026 in Washington State from a pulmonary embolism.

Tep is survived by her mother, June Olson, father Anthony Johnsen, siblings Erica Johnsen Jones, Bailey Olson, Björn Olson, and Brandon Olson, nephew Maximillian Jones, and niece Victoria Jones. She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins that she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her loving grandparents Michiko and Clayton Olson, and grandmother Winnie Johnsen.

We all love her and remember her beautiful spirit fondly.

Tep was a beloved sister, daughter, and friend whose creativity and empathy left a lasting mark. She worked as a Graphic Designer, Artist, and General Laborer, but she had many trades that she was very skilled at. She found joy in graphic design, drawing, skateboarding, music, writing, and had a love of classic cars as well. Her favorite was her beloved Ford Mustang.

Family and Friends remember her curiosity about people, her love of humankind, animals, and nature.

She was extremely kind and never even raised her voice. She saw the best in everyone.

She was endlessly encouraging — the first to "have your back", celebrate a success, love, union, event, or even just to help remind you to keep going when things were hard.

Tep's gentle nature, warmth, and bright spirit will remain in the hearts of all who loved her — a lasting reminder of how deeply she cared and loved all around her. Tep is greatly loved and missed by everyone!

A Celebration of Life was held at Solie Funeral Homes in Everett, WA on August 2, 2026 at 12 noon.

Family and friends all honored her with the LIVE FOR TEP motto and shared wonderful stories about her.

All who loved Tep are encouraged to go be in nature, help people and animals, and plant trees, since Tep was a nature lover, humanitarian, and beautiful, remarkable woman. LIVE FOR TEP!
