Natasha "Tashie" Sorilla Devera, 34, of Bothell, Washington, passed away on May 8th after an eight-month battle with neuroendocrine cancer. Tashie was born on September 29, 1987, to Ron and Merlit Devera in San Diego, California. After graduating from Marysville Pilchuck High School in Marysville, Washington, in 2006, Tashie attended Everett Community College to become a nurse, a promise she made to her dearly departed Grandmother Evelina Sorilla. Tashie was also employed at The Everett Clinic as a Certified Medical Assistant Lead for Call Assist as well as the Secretary for The Everett Clinic Foundation. She loved being a doting aunt and bonus mom to her nieces Evie and Olive and nephew Christian, and to all her extended nieces and nephews. She was also a loving mom to her dogs Roxxie and Walter. She loved food, music, art, the outdoors, nails, beauty, pop culture, anime, gaming, and crafting. She was a joyful, loving, bright, and kind person. Anyone who knew Tashie, knew that she was a magic maker. She had an infectious laugh and lit up every room. She could turn anything into a momentous occasion, whether it was a last-minute Fourth of July picnic or the annual holiday T-shirt tradition. She was known for her dedication to family, loyalty to her friends, and passion for Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Sailor Moon. Tashie's family and friends will miss her more than words can say. Tashie was predeceased by her Grandfather Teodoro de Vera, Roxxie, and Grandmother Evelina Sorilla. She is survived by her dog Walter; Nieces Evie and Olive; Nephew Christian; Sisters Annaliza and Michelle Devera; Mother and Father Merlit and Ron Devera; Grandmother Angelina de Vera; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. There will be a viewing May 15 12-4 p.m. and May 16 10-11 a.m. A funeral service will be held on May 16 at 11-11:45 a.m. at Solie Funeral Home, 3301 Colby Ave, Everett, WA.
