Nancy Devries

Nancy Ann DeVries, 77, born on November 26, 1947 in Hillsboro ND passed away on Tuesday, September 2nd in Everett, WA. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Edwin and Ellanor Stromme, as well as her brothers Dave and Rick Stromme. 

Nancy attended and graduated from Momence High School. Shortly thereafter she married Michael Reyling and served as a homemaker for her 3 children John, Kevin and Shelly. 

Years later after a divorce she met and married Dale “Griz” DeVries. Together they owned and operated a butcher and produce shop in Momence, IL for many years prior to moving to Mukilteo, WA where they ran the clubhouse restaurant at Harbor Pointe Golf Club. 

The last stop for Nancy was in Everett, WA where she worked at the airport prior to retiring. She lived an adventurous life full of love and laughter. Over the years she loved to bowl, golf and shoot darts. 

Her final years were spent with an incredible friend and companion, Don Marcus. Her family cannot begin to thank Don enough for the amount of time and consideration he took in caring for our mother as her health began to decline. Don will always be thought of as a part of our family. 

Nancy is survived by her children John Reyling, Kevin Reyling and Shelly Lehnert. Along with 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Services for Nancy will be a private ceremony with immediate family.
