In the early morning hours of February 29, 2024, Monty Dean Powers passed away peacefully at his home in Lake Stevens, WA.
Monty was born June 18, 1960, to Claudia Lee Weston and Wesley Houston Powers. Both of whom have preceded him in passing.
Monty's favorite past times were hunting, fishing, and camping with his family and friends. He made a lifetime career as a welder and was often referred to as
one of the best welders in Washington State.
Monty Dean has left behind his wife, Debbie Jane Powers: son, Michael (Candice) Powers and their children Dylan and Lucas: step-children, Mike Mock, Nathan Green, Jeremy Green, James Green and Becky Mock; Siblings, Ron (Teri) Powers, Jeff (Eva) Powers, Mark (Holly) Powers, Mona (Dave) Busby; stepmother Deanna Powers; step-brothers, Mark (Debbie) Eagan, Donald Eagan; sixteen grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
Monty will be missed by many, but his memory will live on in all the campfire stories that have yet to be told.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Solie Funeral Home
3301 Colby Ave Everett, WA 98201.
A private family viewing will take place at 10am, followed by a public viewing for friends starting at 11am, with the service starting at 11:30am.
We will be leaving Solie funeral home after the funeral to take Monty to his final resting place at Jordan Cemetery in Arlington, WA.
