Craig Carleton
Died March 13, 2025 from cardiovascular arteriosclerosis.
Craig was born in Seattle, WA. He moved to Tacoma where he attended Clover Park High School and met his future wife Sandy.
He started his career in upholstery after attending Clover Park Voc-tech School working at Tempo Glass in auto upholstery. He quickly
moved to Durham in Seattle, and then Ron’s Lake Union Upholstery where he learned and loved doing boat tops, custom enclosures and projects for yachts for over 30 years.
Everyone loved him and his quality of work and service. After Ron retired, Craig continued his exceptional canvas skills at Mac’s Ballard Upholstery in Seattle,
managing Mac 2 (canvas division). He continued there with the same excellent service of quality canvas tops, enclosures, covers, and anything you could or seemingly couldn’t do.
He was certainly a master of all types of marine fabrication.
Craig was a devoted, loving husband and father. He converted to Catholicism, and he and Sandy became extremely active in their “first” church together, at St.Thomas Moore in Lynnwood.
Craig truly loved God, his family, and his “marine” family. He leaves behind his wife, Sandy, children David and Elise, mother Dorothy, and brothers Paul and Jim and much extended family.
Services will be held at St Brendan’s Catholic Church at 11a.m. on Friday, March 28th. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Brendan’s Catholic Church 10051 NE 195th ST,
Bothell, WA 98011. Craig will be greatly missed by all, but his selfless sacrifice and pure devotion to others will never be forgotten.
