Walter Bernard Mckinney

Walter B. McKinney, April 21st 1943 - December 9th 2018, passed away from pancreatic cancer at home surrounded by family. Born in Puyallup to Walter McKinney and Eva "Betty" McKinney. He grew up in Twisp, WA, before joining the United States Air Force, where he met his wife Donna. They settled in Marysville, WA and raised their family. Walt worked for the City of Marysville as a Police Officer for 26 years eventually retiring as Assistant Chief of Police. Walt also served his community volunteering with The Marysville Kiwanis for 30 years. He is survived by his wife Donna of nearly 54 years and their two sons: Brian (Sloane) and Shane McKinney. Grandchildren: Tim (Leslie), Alisha and Shane. Sisters: Sharon Acord, Helen Medley, Marie Falmo. Brothers: Charles McKinney, Richard McKinney, and Rede Dunlap Four great grandchildren along with multiple cousins, nieces and nephews.
