Rose Marie Mc Donald

Rose Mc Donald Rose Marie (McGinnis) Mc Donald, 82, of Everett WA, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2022, after suffering a stroke a few days earlier. She was born in Mount Vernon, WA on June 23, 1939. Her family moved to Everett when she was in the 4th grade. She attended school there, proudly graduating from Everett High School in 1957. She began working at The Boeing Company, shortly after graduation, continuing her career until her precious son, Ryan, was born in 1969. She met her beloved spouse, Dick Mc Donald, on a blind date. As Dick likes to say, 'the rest was history", they married in 1966 and welcomed their only child a few years later. She was overjoyed with being a grandmother to Riley and Sara, they were truly a highlight in her life. Rose and Dick spent the majority of their time living in Seattle, in their house on Crown Hill. They moved to Everett in 2013, to be closer to family. Rose loved socializing with everyone that she encountered, many becoming friends for life. She was a funny lady and loved to make others laugh. She adored angels and had a vast collection of them around her home. She was deeply religious and committed to her Catholic faith. Rose is survived by her loving husband Dick Mc Donald, son Ryan Mc Donald, grandchildren Riley and Sara (their mom, Teri Mc Donald), sister Mary Good, nieces Linda Heron (husband Woody), Cathy Howard (husband Mike), Tracy Good-Beuckman (husband Brett), and nephew Dean Good (wife Cheryl), in-laws Wally McDonald and Lela Bartz, as well as a loving extended family on both sides, all of whom she immensely adored. She was preceded in death by her nephew Gerry Good and her brother-in-law Leroy Good. Rose's greatest treasure in life were her friends and family, she loved them all so dearly. She will be buried at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery with small graveside service. The family plans a Celebration of Life at a later date.
