Dennis Robert Brown

April 6, 1952 — May 17, 2023

Dennis Robert Brown was born April 6, 1952 in Everett to Robert Perry Brown and Bertha Mai Pieper Brown. He passed away May 17, 2023. He graduated from Everett High in 1970.

Dennis was a “free spirit” who lived life on his own terms from his teenage years on. He was greatly influenced by the youth culture of his time for the rest of his life.

He worked hard. He became a paperboy at age 12 for the Everett Herald and later worked at the Welco Lumber Mill until it closed.

Dennis never married. His daughter, Michelle, was born to Martha Peterson. He had several female companions during his life. Dennis was guarded in relationships and struggled to be a caring father and grandfather. Yet he enjoyed his time and association with friends and extended family.

Dennis had a love for classic cars and assembled collectable lifelike scale replicas.

He loved riding his classic 1941 Harley Davidson Knucklehead, donning his leather jacket, leather pants and bandana.

Dennis had and shared his impeccable memory of people, places and events in his life.

He never lost a limb - or even a fingertip - at the lumber mill, but diabetes took both legs. Yet he kept an upbeat attitude and positive outlook about it..

Dennis was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and expressed his faith and testimony in his own way.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brothers Donald (Jennifer), Dale (Shari) and Doug (Lori), and by his daughter, Michelle (Tom) O’Dea, grandchildren Kaylee Mackey, Kristopher Mackey, Sean O’Dea and Shelby O’Dea, and three great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 29th at 11:00am at the Creekside Mobile Home Park Community Hall at 5810 Fleming Street in Everett.
