Artists in August-Everett ArtWalk at Solie

Solie is proud to present our August and September 2018 on-display artist:

Inger Hutton

Inger HuttonInger S. Hutton was born in Norway, grew up in Canada, and now resides in Everett,
Washington. Inger works mainly in watercolor and graphite with attention to fine detail. Her work includes flora, fauna and candid portraiture. Inger has studied painting with Margaret Davidson and Joseph Lesser at the Gage Academy of Art in Seattle, with fine artist, Albert Rose, and with botanical artist, Louise Smith. She completed the University of Washington’s certificate program of Natural Science Illustration. She has written and illustrated a children’s book and has created an art book of her paintings
depicting the beauty of grand scenery and tiny treasures of Zion National Park. Inger currently holds membership in the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators and is the curator at the Art Loft Sisters Gallery in Everett. During the past year Inger has been concentrating on the order Lepidoptera (including moths and butterflies), painting several studies of unique species from around the world.

Everett Artwalk August 16th 6pm-10pm at 3301 Colby Avenue, Everett, WA 98201.
